The cover obsures the emergency handle. In case of an emergency the cover is knocked off, the patented fastening brakes and the emergency route can be used freely.

The EH door guard was developed based on the new European norm EN 179. In an emergency the door can be opened with one movement. The door guard moves down vertically, an alarm sound emits and the emeregency route route can be used freely.

These systems lock the door electrically. In an emergency the emergency switch has to be pressed and the door is unbolted. These systems have to be tested and approved by the MPA
