GfS Exit Control 179/1125 Pre-alarm Battery Monitoring, RAL 6029
GFS EH-Exit Control The GfS Exit Control 179/1125 secures the emergency exit and allows it to be opened with just a single hand movement. In the locked position, the GfS Exit Control 179/1125 secures the door handle; the door can be accessed in an emergency with a single opening movement. By pressing down the door handle, the GfS Exit Control 179/1125 moves vertically downward and releases the handle. At the same time, a continuous signal sounds. The continuous alarm can only be deactivated with the help of a key, and the door guard can be reset to its original position. For continuous passage operation, the system's permanent release is possible using the device key. The door can also be accessed without triggering an alarm using the key through the change function of the door lock. This means: The door can be opened with just one hand movement in case of danger, but the alarm signal alerts to unauthorized use. The threshold under the door handle is active. In an emergency, the door can be openedwith a single hand movement. When the door handle is pressed down, the Exit Control 179/1125 automatically moves downward. Theemergency exit door can now be accessed. Acontinuous alarm sounds, which can only be deactivatedby an authorized person using the device key. Authorized persons do not use the handle, but open the lock latch with the key,to access the door without triggering an alarm. With the device key, the door guard can bemoved downward into apermanent release position without triggering an alarm. In thisposition, the door can be accessed normally, e.g., for a longer goods transport. As soon as the door handle triggers the pre-alarm,an alarm is triggered. Releasing the handlesilences the alarm. However, if the userpresses the handle all the way down, itirreversibly triggers the main alarm and thedoor guard releases the handle. The basic functions of the EH wirelessdoor guard are the same as already described. It is used when the signal needs to be forwarded to an externalalarm system, whether at theporter's lodge, in the nurse's station, or the janitor's office.

GfS e-Cover large with alarm for covering a manual release button, red plastic housing
GfS e-Cover The misuse of manual call points is a widespread problem in schools, homes, youth hostels, etc. The consequences of a false alarm are associated with high costs, not only economically:Even in the case of a false alarm, fire departments must respond immediately, making them unavailable for other emergencies. Operational processes may need to be interrupted for several hours during the response.Repeated false alarms increase the risk that the building will not be evacuated immediately in the event of a real alarm. The triggering of false alarms is significantly reduced by the robust and easy-to-install GfS e-Cover with an integrated opening alarm.Effective deterrent against misuse or accidental use thanks to the integrated opening alarm of approximately 95dB/1 m.GfS e-Cover can be installed within minutes.Available in various colors and sizes, with or without alarm.Attractive and robust product design made of polycarbonate.Overextension of the hinge is not possible, even with surface-mounted installation. Other areas of application for the GfS e-Cover arise in places where frequent accidental alarm activations may occur, such as canteens or sports halls. The GfS e-Cover can also protect manual call points installed outdoors from moisture ingress.
