GFS Exit Control
The door guard is mounted under the door handle in such a way that it prevents operation and thus secures the door handle or the locking bolt.
The door can only be opened if the door guard is turned to the side beforehand. It then locks in its tilted position and frees the latch for operation. At the same time, a loud acoustic alarm sounds. This means: The door can be opened in case of danger, but the alarm signal alerts to unauthorized use.
The responsible caretaker, technician, etc. can only reset the door guard with a key, thus ending the alarm. The door guard is suitable for right or left doors. Pictograms on the door guard and on the door indicate the direction in which it needs to be swiveled. The swiveling direction is set by the customer using a notch pin (included in the delivery).
When swiveling to the right or left, the door guard locks firmly in place and releases the operating path for the handle. At the same time, an alarm sounds.
At 180° swing-out, the door guard engages. The permanent release can be carried out without triggering an alarm using the device key, and the door can be used normally.
The wireless transmission is used when a signal transmission is needed, but wiring is not desired, too cumbersome, or impossible.
