GFS E-BAR - THE INNOVATIVE PUSH BAR WITH INTEGRATED ALARM AND MONITORING FUNCTION.
The timelessly elegant GfS e-Bar is a panic hardware made of stainless steel. It is delivered in three different lengths, which can be individually shortened on site to optimally fit any door.
The push bar is mounted across the entire door width and thus complies with legal regulations that require installation over at least 60% of the door width. The innovation of the GfS e-Bar lies in its dual function. The control and alarm function for the emergency exit is already integrated into the push bar. This makes additional emergency exit security systems largely unnecessary. To increase the threshold against unauthorized use of the panic door, the GfS e-Bar operates with a two-stage alarm (pre-alarm and main alarm).
MAIN ALARM
When the GfS e-Bar is fully pressed, passing through the emergency exit is possible. This triggers the optical (flashing green display) and the acoustic main alarm (95 dB/1 m).
This can only be acknowledged by an authorized person via the integrated key switch. An automatic alarm shutdown after 3 minutes can be set.
SINGLE RELEASE
Authorized persons can pass through the door without triggering an alarm by using a pulse input on the integrated key switch of the GfS e-Bar or via an external pulse generator.
If the door remains accidentally open after passing, a "door-open-too-long alarm" will sound after 10 seconds (optional when using a Reed contact).
