CABLE TRANSITIONS – THE ADAPTABLE CONNECTION, FLEXIBLE and STABLE.
The GfS cable transition is an ideal protective cover for any cable, to electrically connect built-in electromechanical security locks, microswitches, alarms, etc. in doors, gates, windows, etc.
The robust metal spiral for pulling in flexible connection cables up to 10.8 mm in diameter ensures a pinch-free retraction of the wiring into the housing when the door/window is closed.
The cable connection is most conveniently mounted at the top part of the doors or
windows. A notch is required in the metal profile. The electrical wires are threaded through the flexible shaft, the protective flaps, and the metal profile before mounting. Sufficiently large holes must be provided for the continuation of the electrical wires from the cable connection in the door/window or frame, so that the wires can be easily extended.
The cable connection allows the doors and windows to open up to 180°. The distance between the door/window and the frame must not exceed 40 mm when open. A significant processing advantage of the
GfS cable connection is that the housing is made of solid stainless steel
and can be easily further processed for installation.
